Hi
I am looking at a pair of AND1 720 Mids for casual use only. I do not play basketball and do not intend to wear them for such but want a supportive shoe – I saw these and thought they looked mint as!
My question:
Are these gonna be suitable for casual wear? Should the be comfy, and last a long time?
Also, are basketball shoes (specifically those and1 720s) at all in any way ok for playing tennis once in a while?
Thanks heaps guys – thought I’d post it here cause you people would know!
Peace

Alright hey peeps
I remember these nike basketball shoes that were popular a few years ago. They were mostly white with yellow and a black strap. I don’t even know if they had them in men sizes but all the kids i knew had them. I don’t think they were too expensive, probably about $50. I tjink they might have been something about Flight or somethin. I really want to know what they were called. Thanks.
-will give best answer to anybody that gives me the correct name

Business career- Single-Handedly changed Nike. The most marketable athlete to ever play a sport. Has made Nike easily the worlds most won shoe and has made them millions/billions of dollars.
But it was MJ who influenced people to buy more of the shoe.
Everyone wanted to be “Like Mike” plus he really never wanted to play basketball. He wanted to a baseball player or golfer…forgot which one.
Just because Michael Jordan played basketball in a basketball league on a basketball team does not make him a basketball player. I played basketball, in a league, on a team but I am not a basketball player.
I agree that somebody can be more than 1 thing, however in this case I believe that because he is so famous you basically have to pick something. He revolutionized the marketing world win it comes to sports apparel and commercials. On top of that he carried the NBA to its most prominent standing to date. His Jumpman 23 LOGO is the most recognizable symbol in the sports marketing world, after of course the NIKE “SWOOSH”. Just because you play something professionally does not mean you are a player does it. Michael Jordan also played Baseball professionally. I would not call him a baseball player though.
So can we all agree that he was a better businessman than athlete?
